Half-Moon (Kaju Shape) — Java Origin

Crescent or cashew-shaped. More commonly available but still frequently counterfeited. Considered equally sacred by most spiritual traditions. Price range: ₹5,000–₹50,000 for certified specimens.

Why 1 Mukhi is the Most Counterfeited Rudraksha

Simple economics: a genuine 1 Mukhi commands enormous prices. Fraudsters carve fake single-mukhi grooves onto round seeds of other species, or resin-fill and reshape regular Rudraksha. Without X-ray examination and microscopic surface analysis, even experienced buyers cannot reliably distinguish genuine from fake.
